Bangladeshi banks are always working for elevating the rate of illiteracy. In that case they encourage the students by many ways. Like other bank Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation also provides scholarship to the poor student. They awards scholarship to students for HSC and Bachelor level. Mostly these banks help those students who are really financially poor. Every year many students abandoned their study, just because of their poor financial capability.

To continue these social works, they provide scholarships to 500 SSC & HSC level students every year.  Now I’m going to tell you, how an applicant can grab this offer.

Eligibility for Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation Scholarship 2024

• Students have to pass SSC or HSC or equivalent exam in 2019/2020.
• Science background students have to achieve a GPA 5.00 if from under the city corporation areas school or institution.
• The students who are outside of the city corporation need GPA 4.80 out of GPA 5.00 from a science background.
• For enclave or disable students need GPA 4.00 from a science background.
• For other groups GPA, 4.80 is granted for those who are from city corporation areas, who belong to outside of city corporation areas can apply by only achieve GPA 4.50. for disabled students, their requirement is GPA 3.50.

• The facility of this scholarship is little bit difference. On this scholarship students get one-time allowance.
• They provide scholarship for both HSC and Bachelor level students.  
• There is no limited number for providing scholarship. Generally, every year they increase the number of students to provide scholarship.

Application procedure of Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation Scholarship 2024

• Applicants can collect application from any brunch of Shahjalal Islami Bank LTD or anyone can collect the form from their official website.
• After collecting the form, they have to fill up it they have to send it to In charge, Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation, Head office, 2/B, Gulshan South Avenue, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212.
• With the application form they have to provide following documents:
  • 3 copies recent passport size color photographs.
    • Income statements of guardians of the student.
    • Attested mark sheet of educational qualifications.
    • Recommendation letter from present institution head.
