Barisal University Admission Circular
After the declaration of Admission Circular, we have come to know that, the application process will start from the 6th January 2022. It is also mentionable that, interested candidates
The Application fee for all unit is 600 BDT. If a student wants to change the department, s/he has to pay 1100 BDT.
The Examination will be started 2022 with the exam of Kha Unit. In the same day Ga Unit Exam will be taken. The next day the remaining unit KA Unit Exam will be taken.
The Seat plan and other details related to BU Admission will be available in our website and their official website. Admit card system will be notified through Mobile SMS.

BU Admission Requirements
Every University has some requirements to get admission. To apply for the Barisal University, One needs to fulfill some requirements. Interested candidates have to pass SSC in 2017 and HSC in 2019 or 2020 respectively.
Ka Unit
- Candidates have to pass from Science Group
- The sum of HSC and SSC GPA must be 7.00 or above
- Candidates have to obtain at least 3.00 GPA separately in HSC and SSC
Kha Unit
- Candidates who passed from Humanities group can apply in this unit
- Minimum SSC GPA – 2.50
- Minimum HSC GPA – 2.50
- Minimum Total GPA – 6.00
Ga Unit
- Who can apply: Business Studies, Business Management, DIC, HBM
- Minimum SSC GPA: 3.00
- Minimum HSC GPA: 3.00
- Minimum Total GPA:6.50
Barisal University Admission Unit
There are three admission Units in Barisal University. In these three units, there are seven faculties. The faculties are
- Science and Engineering
- Biological Science
- Arts and Humanities
- Social Science
- Law
- Business Studies
Each of the Faculty has several subjects. If a student wants to get admit himself in the specific subject, he has to take part in the admission test for respective unit.
Admission Test System and Marks Distribution
Candidates have to appear in admission test. The marks distribution for each of the unit are given below
Ka Unit
Candidates have to compulsorily answer Bangla, English, Physics and Chemistry. The remaining subjects are math, Biology and ICT. Candidates will get chance to choose any of the two from the remaining subjects.

Students who appears in the Kha Unit exam they have to answer Bangla and English Compulsory. After answer the compulsory subjects, they can choose any three of the subjects from the below list. The subjects are

- Social Science
- Geography
- Psychology
Ga Unit
This is the unit for Business Studies students. They have to compulsorily answer Bangla, English, Accounting and Managements. After answering the compulsory subjects, they can choose any one from Finance or Production.
How to apply for Barisal University

- Fill the form with HSC and SSC information Roll No, Passing Year etc.
- Then Click on the proceed button
- Make confirmation
- Send and SMS following the instruction of the page.

Barisal University Admit Card Download
After filling up the form candidate can download the admit card from the official website. Admit card download will start from November 1, 2020. A candidate can download the admit card until the Examination. Candidates must bring admit card to seat on the Examination hall. So, it is important to download the admit card. - After login you can download the admit card
Barisal University Seat Plan
Barisal University Seat plan will available before the admission test on their website. One can check the seat plan through the mobile phone. To check the seat plan, one needs to check the website by login the website. Then he has to click on the seat plan button to check it.
Another way to check the seat plan is using your seat plan. To check the seat plan follow the below process
- Open your mobile message option
- Type BU, Unit Keyword, Admission Roll Number separated by space
- Format is BU KHA 123654
- Send is 16321
- On the return SMS, you will get your seat plan.
Barisal University Admission Results 2022
After seating on the admission test, the prime concern of the student is the admission test result. Barisal University usually publishes its result on its admission website which is http://admission.eis.bu.ac.bd. One can easily check the result from that site. Just you need to enter the roll number of your admission site. Then click on the search button. On the result, you will get the results. Or you can check via SMS. The SMS format is given below.

Barisal University Subject Choice Form
Those who are successful in the admission test, Barisal University authority will provide the subject form to the successful students. In the subject choice form, candidates needs to enter their preferred subjects according to the serial. Students will get their subjects according to merit.
Barisal University Admission
After the subject choice form, a candidate will have gotten a chance to their subject according to merit. They need to contact the selected department. Then they have to collect admission form. After filling up the form, the candidates will pay the admission fee on the bank. A copy of the bank slip needs to submit in the respective department. Authority will also ask for the other academic certificates too. That’s all. Congratulation, you are now a student of Barisal University.
Barisal University Migration Results
After the primary merit list, the seat remains blanks in any department. The authority will provide the migration list. It will be also on the merit basis.
